We work through well-regarded charities due to their existing access in the areas we wish to support. We believe that supporting local and relying on charities’ individual expertise is the most cost-effective way through which our Foundation can contribute towards a better future. Founded in 2010 by HRH Princess Sofia and Frida Vesterberg, Project Playground aims to improve the life opportunities of children and young people in vulnerable areas in Sweden by providing meaningful leisure time and safe spaces for personal development.

The Virtual Doctors
The Virtual Doctors use a mobile app to connect rural health centres in Zambia and Malawi with volunteer doctors, mainly in the UK. These doctors offer remote advice to support diagnosis and treatment, empowering local health workers, reducing hospital referrals, and strengthening the medical knowledge of Clinical Officers.

Smile Foundation
Smile Foundation is a South African non-profit providing life-changing reconstructive surgery and care to children with facial conditions and burns. Working with 15 academic hospitals, it has transformed over 5,000 lives in underserved communities over the past 25 years.
